What Teachers Say about GOTAGS

I absolutely believe GOTAGS is something every new teacher should have! You really do not realize until you're in the classroom how well the strategies described in GOTAGS help. If you really buy in and begin using the strategies from your first year, you'll save yourself so much stress and really be able to enjoy teaching more.

Elissa McIntyre, math Overton High School

Last year my principal kept asking if I were sure that this was my first year to teach, and I kept assuring him it was. He said he'd never seen a first year teacher teach like she had been teaching for several years. GOTAGS prepared me to teach beginning day one.

Jessica Chapman, music, Liberty Elementary School

My success in the classroom and, more importantly, the success of my students can be traced back to the ideas and instruction presented in GOTAGS.

What Homeschool Parents say about Morphemes

I would definitely recommend this product for middle and high schoolers, particularly ones that are studying vocabulary words for the SAT or ACT. It's a great program for getting those roots into long-term memory.

Holly Johnson, Oklahoma (view blog)

I think this is a great program to use for SAT vocabulary preparation.

Wendy Ross, Florida (view blog)

Once we started the program though I saw that Ethan was doing well with it. I even found him in bed completing one of his assignments! I’ve never ever had that happen before, my son take school to his cozy place! When I asked him what he liked about it he said he liked learning the Greek morphemes because he was learning what words meant. He made me smile.

What Teachers Say about Morphemes

“Morphemes stick! What I learned from Dr. Harris and Greek and Latin morphemes when I was in middle school in the 1980’s helped me fall in love with words. That joy has traveled with me all the way into my teaching life, where my own seventh-grade students love playing with morphemes, too!“

Dr. Ellie DesPrez, John Burroughs School, St. Louis, MO

I have been teaching for 35 years. This is one of the best vocabulary programs I've seen. My students find the lessons both challenging AND entertaining!"

Renita Cobb, West End Middle School, Nashville, TN

"I have never had students more interested in vocabulary. They report almost daily on Greek morpheme words they have seen on buildings, bumper stickers or books and have heard in movies or on television."

Carey Dincauze, MS teacher, Christ Presbyterian Academy, Brentwood, TN
